Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a Product Developer to guide new collections from concept through commercialization in Stamford, CT. You will manage development timelines, coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional partners, and ensure launches meet design integrity, quality, and customer experience standards.

Responsibilities include leading status meetings, evaluating bids, reviewing drawings, prototyping, and ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery while mentoring junior teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 4–6 years of experience in product development, furniture industry preferred.
• Strong project management and multi-project prioritization.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Experience with 3D CAD and design tooling (SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360) and Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage development lifecycle for assigned projects from concept to launch.
• Lead cross-functional status meetings; communicate risks and decisions.
• Prepare RFQ packages; partner with Sourcing for cost analysis and bids.
• Review drawings for design intent, construction, and material specs.
• Coordinate prototyping, testing, and vendor onboarding.
• Maintain development timelines, budgets, and launch readiness.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Compliance, Quality and suppliers for documentation.
• Develop quality criteria and support inspections for launches.
• Report status and recommendations to leadership; mentor junior team members.
