Job summary

One Workplace is seeking an Installer II to join our Seattle-area team. You will assist in receiving, delivering, and installing furniture at customer sites, ensuring high levels of customer service throughout the sales process.

You will work with Steelcase products, coordinate with the Operations Lead, and help train new Installers. The role requires a valid Washington driver’s license, own tools, and the ability to drive company vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of related installation experience preferred for office furniture.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid WA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly and reassembly of Steelcase and office systems furniture.
• Recommend solutions to improve and redesign the job site, or customize to get the job completed.
• Accurately complete and submit required paperwork (timesheets, merchandise returns).
• Properly load and pack the truck for deliveries.
• Knowledge of wall mounts and related hardware.
• Provide backup for warehouse duties and coordinate with supervision on-site.
• Assist in training new Installers on essential functions.
• Basic computer troubleshooting ability.
