Innovative Office Solutions is seeking a Furniture Installer in Coon Rapids, MN. This full-time, non-exempt role involves loading, delivering, installing, and documenting furniture installations, with attention to safety and customer satisfaction.

You will read blueprints, work with various panels and components, supervise crews, and coordinate with on-site teams to ensure projects meet design specs. A valid driver’s license and DOT physical may be required.

Qualifications

• Furniture installation experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools is required.
• Tape measure proficiency is required.
• Valid driver’s license and current DOT physical may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver, unload, and distribute furniture orders.
• Assemble and install furniture per specifications; inspect for operability.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional appearance (uniform provided).
• Document installations, deliveries, and punch items in company systems (MOSS, CORE).
• Read and interpret blueprints, including workstation layouts, panel systems, and electrical components.
• Install panels, case goods, wall tracks, and troubleshoot power issues.
• Communicate with customers, supervisors, and other trades on-site; address changes or issues promptly.
• Supervise crews and subcontractors, ensuring tools, equipment, and schedules are followed.
• Attend pre-install meetings for large projects and ensure layouts match design specifications.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and prepare for next-day jobs.
• Strategically resolve unexpected issues to keep projects on track.
• Close out jobs with customers and ensure satisfaction.
