Job summary

Maricopa County is seeking an experienced Furniture Foreman to lead the Design and Construction Division's daily activities for furniture installations, relocations, reconfigurations, and repairs. You will oversee inventory control, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high customer service standards.

The role requires 3+ years in systems furniture environments, a high school diploma, and a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three years of installation, material handling, and inventory control experience with systems furniture.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination may substitute for required experience.
• Arizona driver’s license by hire and clean driving record.
• PREA background investigation required for access to County facilities.
• Two years of team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities for new installations, relocations, reconfigurations, repairs, inventory, and assessments of furniture systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and county departments to schedule installs and updates.
• Train and assign work to support staff and monitor safety compliance.
• Operate warehouse equipment and inventory systems and drive County vehicles as needed.
• Support maintenance and decommissioning of furniture and related assets.
