Job summary

The Bureau of Prisons/Federal Prison System is seeking a Furniture Factory Worker Supervisor (Complex Factory Foreman-UNICOR) to oversee inmate workers in the manufacture and assembly of office furniture and related products. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity in a complex factory setting.

You will train and supervise inmates in processes such as measuring, cutting, spot welding, drilling, upholstery, finishing and packaging, ensuring OSHA compliance and secure operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising inmate workers in a factory setting preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise inmates in the manufacture and assembly of office furniture and related products.
