Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring full-time non-CDL drivers in Capital Heights, MD. You will load furniture, deliver to customers, and assemble on-site while ensuring a positive experience. The role involves driving a 26-foot box truck, navigating routes, and coordinating with the operations team for efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residency.
• 3+ months experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger; 1 year preferred.
• Physically able to move furniture indoors/outdoors and lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Able to comply with FMCSA regulations and pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate to customers’ homes or offices.
• Unload, deliver, and install furniture while interacting with customers.
• Load and unload furniture in the warehouse as needed.
• Start day with route review and safety topics with the operations team.
