Job summary

Havertys Furniture Stores in Knoxville seeks energetic Furniture Delivery Drivers to safely deliver and set up merchandise at customers' homes. Maintain timeliness and documentation accuracy, with training provided for those new to delivery roles.

Eligible candidates must be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and be able to lift up to 150 pounds. DOT certification is provided by the company; background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No delivery experience required; training provided.
• Current Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
• Ability to push/pull and repeatedly lift 150 pounds.
• DOT Certification obtainable (company paid).
• Background check and drug screen (THC) required.
• Uniforms provided; steel-toed boots/shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicle safely and courteously.
• Deliver and set up furniture in customers’ homes.
• Meet customer delivery time windows.
• Document delivery via mobile device or paperwork.
• Load and unload product as needed.
• Assist in warehouse or showroom when required.
• Shifts start at 7:30 am; 4 days per week, 10-hour days.
