Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for full-time non-CDL drivers in Sacramento, California. You will load furniture and deliver to customers’ homes or office spaces, and assemble furniture to ensure a positive customer experience. Pay is $21–$25 per hour with eligibility for the PSP bonus plan.

Standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM, with some overtime. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) with match, paid training, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residency.
• 3+ months of professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger; 1 year preferred.
• Physically able to move furniture indoors/outdoors, up or down stairs, and lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Ability to comply with FMCSA regulations and maintain DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Start your day at the warehouse to review route and safety topics with the operations team.
• Drive a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate to customers’ homes or offices.
• Unload, deliver, and install furniture while interacting with customers.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed (loading/unloading furniture).
