Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for a full-time Delivery Driver in Sacramento, California. You will load furniture, deliver to customers' homes or offices, and assemble items while ensuring a positive customer experience. The role requires safe driving of a 26-foot box truck and teamwork with the Operations team.

Standard schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 AM-4 PM, with some overtime possible. Pay ranges from $21 to $25 per hour and is eligible for the PSP bonus plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residency.
• 3+ months of experience driving a 24-ft box truck or larger; 1 year preferred.
• Ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Must meet FMCSA language and DOT medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review route and safety topics with the operations team at the start of the day.
• Drive a 26-foot box truck with lift gate to customer locations.
• Unload, deliver, and install furniture and interact with customers.
• Assist in warehouse tasks including loading/unloading furniture as needed.
