At Royal Furniture, we pride ourselves on offering our customers incredible values in furniture, appliances, and mattresses. Family owned and operated since 1946, now in our third generation, we have mastered the art of buying big and passing the savings to our customers.

We are seeking an experienced Box Truck Driver. The working hours are Tuesday through Saturday, starting at 8 am until routes are completed (usually around 4 or 5 pm). Compensation is a percentage of the furniture delivered, based on customer payments. The annual salary typically ranges from $45K to $60K.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver furniture to customers' homes, including assembling furniture prior to loading.
• Load furniture onto the truck in delivery sequence, ensuring it is padded, strapped, tied down, balanced, and secured to prevent damage during transit.
• Unload and set up furniture in the customer's home carefully; clean and touch up furniture as needed to maintain quality.
• Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating high workmanship and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Follow the delivery schedule and communicate with dispatch throughout the day.
• Assistants will accompany the driver to the delivery sites.
• Support warehouse functions as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience in delivery and furniture moving.
• Valid Driver's License with F Endorsement (TN) or Class D license (MS).
• Clean driving record (MVR will be checked).
• Experience driving a 26-foot box truck.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move furniture, boxes, and equipment.
• Drug-free; drug testing will be conducted.
• Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts.
• Excellent customer service skills.
