Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan is seeking a Furniture Delivery Assistant in New Jersey to support the Delivery Driver, inspect and prepare each order, and ensure furniture travels safely to customers. You will assist with loading and unloading, help assemble items in the home, and contribute to a warm, professional delivery experience.

This role requires a strong customer-service mindset, teamwork, and physical stamina for moving heavy furniture.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license with a qualified driving record (highly preferred).
• The ability to work collaboratively with your delivery partner to provide exceptional customer service.

• A professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude, even during challenging or high-pressure situations.
• The physical ability to lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes, including items over 200 lbs., while navigating stairs, tight spaces, and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Delivery Driver by inspecting, wrapping, and preparing each order for transport.
• Assist with loading and unloading the truck and assemble furniture at the customer's home.
• Contribute to creating a warm and memorable delivery experience by placing items exactly where the customer wants them.
