Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan in New Jersey is hiring a Furniture Delivery Assistant to support the Delivery Driver, inspect, wrap, and prepare orders for transport, and help load and unload the truck.

At the customer’s home you’ll assemble furniture, place items as requested, and help create a warm, memorable delivery. The role requires safety, a valid driver's license, teamwork, and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Must follow Raymour & Flanigan safety practices and keep a clean, organized workspace.
• Valid driver's license with driving record preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with delivery partner to provide exceptional customer service.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude, even under challenging conditions.
• Physically capable of lifting, lowering, and maneuvering furniture over 200 lbs., including stairs and tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Support the Delivery Driver by inspecting, wrapping, and preparing orders for transport.
• Assist with loading and unloading the truck with care and efficiency.
• Assemble furniture at the customer’s home and place items as requested.
• Contribute to a warm, memorable delivery experience for customers.
