Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Furniture Construction Worker for the U.S. Rebuild team in North Wilkesboro, NC. You will join a team to rebuild homes and replace furniture lost to disasters, while maintaining safety standards and coordinating with volunteers and contractors.

The role emphasizes a strong witness for Jesus Christ, reliable teamwork, and the ability to perform manual labor with care. This is a full-time position with daily site travel in Western North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to living out a Christian witness.
• Physical ability and experience to perform manual labor and follow safety protocols.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Work with a team to rebuild homes and replace furniture lost to natural disasters or other emergencies
• Collaborate with the Furniture Manager, volunteers, co-workers, and subcontractors to restore homes safely and effectively
• Provide safety and project training to team members
• Maintain security and quality standards during projects
• Communicate with homeowners and partners to keep them informed
• All other duties as assigned
