Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture in Shorewood, IL is seeking an Assembler to properly assemble products stored in the Mezzanine, including chairs, entertainment centers, desks, tables, and more. You’ll maintain a clean, safe work area and report issues to the Supervisor.

The role requires good hand-eye coordination, ability to use basic hand tools, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Prior assembly experience is preferred; must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent in a warehouse environment.
• Prior assembly experience preferred.
• Good hand-eye coordination and hand/arm agility.
• Strong interpersonal and human relations skills.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products including chairs, entertainment centers, desks and tables.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report issues to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Inspect and disposition returned assembled products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
