Job summary

Steinhafels, Inc. is seeking Warehouse Furniture Assemblers to join our distribution center. You will assemble a wide variety of furniture for delivery using hand and power tools, and you will participate in a fast-paced team environment dedicated to quality and efficiency.

Starting wage is $16.50 per hour with first and second shifts available. Four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days, and one weekend day is required to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull furniture.
• Experience using power and hand tools to assemble furniture.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Unboxing of all furniture parts
• Accurate and proper construction of furniture
• Leveling of all furniture necessary
• Preparing completed furniture for delivery
• Taking prepped furniture to the designated delivery chute
• Maintaining cleanliness of surrounding work areas
• Ample opportunities to cross-train and be involved in other duties of the distribution center
• Two paid 10-minute breaks
• One 30-minute lunch break
