Job summary

SCP Limited in Auburn, IN seeks a Full Time Technical operator to safely run and monitor furnace equipment within our manufacturing process. You will observe heating cycles, monitor digital controls, and ensure process conditions meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include reporting abnormalities, following SOPs, and maintaining a clean work area. Rotating day/night 12-hour shifts and adherence to safety practices are required.

Safely operate and monitor furnace equipment used in SCP Limited’s manufacturing process. The role requires close observation of heating cycles, digital monitoring systems, and process conditions to support safe, consistent, quality production.

• Operate furnace equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.
• Observe heating cycles and monitor digital controls, readings, and process conditions.
• Identify and report abnormal furnace conditions, equipment concerns, or process deviations.
• Follow safety requirements, SOPs, quality standards, and required documentation.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and communicate equipment or process concerns promptly.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Schedule

• 12-hour rotating/swing shifts.
• Rotation includes day and night shifts, weekdays and weekends.
