Job summary

RTX is hiring for an onsite role in New York focused on processing, assembling, and heat-treating metal parts. The position requires basic math, computer skills, and a HS diploma or GED.

You will read and interpret drawings, set up equipment, and ensure quality by monitoring tolerances and maintaining documentation. Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
• Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting decimals.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use multiple computer applications (including email, internet, and other job-specific applications).

Responsibilities

• Use a variety racking methods to process parts.
• Prepare parts for shipment to customers.
• Perform machine setup and runs on annealing furnaces and degreasers.
• Cleaning, racking and heat treating of components.
• Read, interpret and comprehend prints, engineering and quality standards, and other drawings and work instructions.
• Monitor part tolerances while performing operations and identify non-conforming features.
