Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a manufacturing technician for the 8th shift at our Clayville, NY facility. You will perform cleaning, monitoring and securing operations to support vacuum atomization furnace setup and related tasks.

Responsibilities include hoist operations, furnace lid and coil handling, gas/water line connections under supervision, and contributing to CORE and EH&S initiatives. Shifts 10pm-8am Monday-Thursday; U.S. citizenship may be required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to wear a respirator and work safely.
• Strong attendance and reliable punctuality.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to use hoists and assist in furnace work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor vacuum atomization furnace operations.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs).
• Assist in removal/replacement of furnace lid and coils.
• Support CORE and EH&S initiatives.
• Work the 8th shift Mon-Thu 10pm-8am.
