What You Will Do

Operate various furnaces for coating, cleaning, and heat treating of engine hot section parts. Perform minor maintenance on equipment as needed to support the repair of engine hot sections. Complete 6‑month job‑site training on the 1st shift. Upon successful training, rotate 4×12‑hour and 3×12‑hour overnight shifts each week from 8:00pm to 8:00am.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate atmosphere, vacuum, and hydrogen fluoride (HF) furnaces per written instructions.
• Mix coating powders as required per PMS specifications.
• Pack and unpack coated parts.
• Program controls and monitor operating parameters for furnace runs.
• Make routine entries on charts and routing travelers, log data into RFMS, and trace records.
• Perform preventative and minor maintenance as required.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Comply with all documentation (including SOPs, PMSs, and routers).
• Setup and run furnace temperature uniformity surveys.
• Troubleshoot furnace‑related temperature issues.
• Assemble OEM heat‑treat coating batches based on alloy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must take and pass the Furnace Operator Test with a score of 75%.

We Prefer

• Certified forklift driver.
• Previous experience as a Furnace Operator strongly preferred.
• Previous experience performing preventative maintenance.
• Prior Aviation or Manufacturing experience.
