The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in ceramic, mechanical, or chemical engineering and at least five years of furnace experience, with Green Belt/Black Belt preferred. On-site role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ceramic, mechanical, or chemical engineering preferred.
• Five+ years of furnace and manufacturing experience.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, control and maintain furnace and forehearth for safe, efficient operation.
• Monitor energy usage and optimize input for cost savings.
• Lead safety and housekeeping efforts and coach technicians.
