Job summary

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services: delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Assists with respectful preparation of remains, including dressing and lifting when needed.
• Answers phones and handles office equipment and documents.
• Run errands for floral delivery and supplies.
• Greet client families and accommodate needs during services and visitations.
• May assist with transportation and driving funeral home vehicles when required.

Other general duties include meeting the general public, answering questions and providing information on funeral and cremation information and other related topics, answering phones courteously and in a polite manner, assisting on funeral, memorial and other services or ceremonies as requested by funeral home clients and management.
