Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Funeral Attendant to support the funeral team by transporting loved ones into care and serving as an attendant during services. You will keep facilities clean, assist with services, and coordinate logistics under supervision of a licensed Funeral Director.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1 year in a related field, a valid state driver’s license, and a strong desire to pursue mortuary science.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related client relations, facilities maintenance, or similar experience.
• Strong interest in mortuary science/end-of-life planning.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with good concentration and focus.
• Ability to stand/walk for periods and lift/push as needed.
• Availability for some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist funeral team with transportation into care and attend services.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities (dusting, vacuuming, cleaning).
• Assist with funeral services and visitation (greeting visitors, coordinating pallbearers, arranging transport and parking).
• Transport individuals with care and professionalism.
• Support related administrative and legal coordination under supervision of a licensed Funeral Director.
