Compensation

$25+ per hour (flexible depending on experience)

Qualifications

• Funeral Director/Embalmer
• Valid Funeral Director/Embalmer License or ability to obtain one in the state of employment
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with an acceptable driving record
• Willingness to participate in community involvement to grow market share

Job Duties

• Meet with client families to plan personalized memorial services
• Ensure timely and compliant documentation and paperwork
• Conduct and attend services regularly
• Implement company-provided training
• Participate in on-call/first call duties as needed
• Use systems to review merchandise options, enter contracts, and complete forms
• Supervise staff to ensure professionalism and high service standards
• Utilize corporate support effectively
• Maintain accurate client files and communicate openly
• Engage in community events and organizations

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Primarily indoor office duties, with some outdoor activities in various weather conditions
• Must have sufficient strength, manual dexterity, and willingness to work safely with PPE
• Regularly required to climb, sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 75 pounds (possibly up to 100 pounds)
• May need to perform power reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens is routine
• Must be able to drive company vehicle and maintain insurability
