South Park Funeral Home and Cemetery is seeking a compassionate Funeral Director in Pearland, Texas. You will guide families through planning and conducting services with sensitivity and professionalism, ensuring dignified final memorials.

The role requires a Texas license, strong communication, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will coordinate services, maintain records, and support families during difficult times in a respectful manner.

Qualifications

• Licensed Funeral Director in Texas.
• Excellent communication skills, integrity, and a passion for serving others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of current federal, state and local funeral industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, guidance, and direction to families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one.
• Coordinate, assist, and carry out all aspects of a funeral service and final memorialization.
• Adhere to licensing regulations and internal rules applicable to the funeral service profession.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations related to the funeral industry.

The Funeral Director serves as a trusted source of support, guidance, and direction for families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one. The ideal candidate combines compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail with the ability to help families navigate difficult decisions during a time of loss. By providing exceptional care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and honoring every life with dignity and respect, the Funeral Director plays a vital role in creating meaningful experiences for the families we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide a source of support, guidance, and direction to families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one
• Coordinate, assist, and carry out all aspects of a funeral service and final memorialization
• Adhere to all professional, municipal, state, and federal licensing regulations and rules applicable to the funeral service profession
• Ensure that all federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industry are followed
