Job summary

Foundation Partners Group in Alaska is seeking a Funeral Attendant to set up and assist with viewings, funerals, and memorial services, and to help transfer remains as needed.

You will assist the funeral director, move caskets, operate the hearse, and provide compassionate service to families. Availability for weekends/evenings/on-call and the ability to lift 75 lbs are essential.

  • Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and a team player

  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a clear driving record

Job description

The Funeral Attendant will set up and assist with viewings, funeral services, memorial services, transfer of remains from the place of death to the funeral home, and other tasks associated with funeral and memorial services as assigned by management.

  • Maintains a friendly attitude while offering assistance and guidance to all persons entering the location

  • Drives the hearse, family limousine, or other vehicles in the funeral cortege and other funeral related activities
