Job summary

Privia Health is seeking a Funds Flow Staff Accountant who will support the Director of Finance with monthly close, accounts payable, billing, and compliance tasks. You will enter journal entries, reconcile cash and general ledger accounts, and document processes while assisting with special projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field and at least 1 year of direct accounting experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • 1+ years of direct accounting experience required.
  • General knowledge of finance and accounting functions, including revenue, budgeting, credit, reconciliations, and internal controls.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus. Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.

Job Description

The Funds Flow Staff Accountant reports to the Director of Finance and assists with various monthly close, accounts payable, billing, and compliance processes. The Funds Flow Staff Accountant enters journal entries, reconciles cash and general ledger accounts, documents processes, and assists with special projects.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required. Related fields include Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting/Management Information Systems.
  • 1+ years of direct accounting experience required. Month end close experience is a plus.
  • General knowledge of finance and accounting functions, including revenue, budgeting, credit, reconciliations, and internal controls.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15%. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
