Job summary

Insite Group in New York is seeking a Funds Audit Senior to lead engagements for alternative investment clients. Hybrid work with three days in the office, base in New York or Boston for the right candidate.

You will oversee work plans, coach teams, and communicate with senior leadership while expanding exposure to funds, VC, PE, hedge funds, and private credit. A CPA and several years in public accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified CPA with public accounting background.
• Experience leading audit fieldwork and supervising teams.
• Solid US GAAP knowledge and analytical approach.
• Ability to manage client expectations and move engagements forward.

Responsibilities

• Build engagement work plans and lead the team through planning, fieldwork and completion.
• Audit funds and management companies across private equity, venture capital, hedge funds and private credit.
• Manage client relationships and act as main contact throughout the engagement.
• Address complex areas like investment valuations, fair value measurement, capital activity.
