Job summary

Driscoll Children’s Hospital is seeking a Fundraising Project Coordinator to lead donor-funded projects from inception to completion within the Development Services team. You will ensure donor wishes are honored and funds are used per requirements, while tracking progress and maintaining accurate gift records.

You will collaborate across departments, manage budgets and timelines, and provide administrative support to advance donor-funded initiatives that benefit Driscoll patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience or training.
• Experience using Raiser's Edge is a plus.
• Strong project coordination, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Experience with financial information, budgets, reports, and account reconciliations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate donor-funded projects, including timelines, budgets, scope, action items, and progress tracking.
• Partner with Development Services team, Leadership, and Health System departments.
• Ensure donor wishes are carried out and funds used per gift agreements and hospital policies.
• Track donations, grants, restricted funds, and project expenses.
• Coordinate purchases, vouchers, approvals, and fund releases.
• Follow up with departments to keep projects on schedule.
• Reconcile gift accounts and report discrepancies.
• Maintain gift records in Raiser's Edge and accounting system.
• Prepare reports on donations and restricted funds usage.
• Communicate with departments about major gifts, grants, and endowments.
• Develop and maintain a systemwide gift-monitoring process.
• Build relationships with department leaders, vendors, and internal/external partners.
• Provide admin support to Development team as needed.
