Overview

As Manager of Walk to End Alzheimer’s, you will be part of an exclusive team responsible for implementing the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s ranks as the second-largest peer-to-peer fundraising event in the U.S., recognized for its growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize networking skills to cultivate community and corporate relationships, driving revenue and participation.
• Manage and inspire volunteers and volunteer committees to achieve annual fundraising goals.
• Coordinate multiple peer-to-peer fundraising events, fostering community engagement and event growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in volunteer mobilization or sales with proven success in meeting targets.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage volunteers and work with diverse communities.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% and work evenings/weekends as needed.

Position Details

Location: Palm Desert, CA

Type: Full-time, exempt (37.5 hours/week)

Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 annually, with potential bonuses up to $13,000 based on performance.
