Walk to End Alzheimer’s ranks as the second-largest peer-to-peer fundraising event in the United States and continues to set the pace as one of the fastest-growing walk events in the country.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Columbus was the 11th largest Walk in the country out of over 600 held in 2024. This event raised just over $1 million in 2024, with tremendous momentum of support in Central Ohio. As Walk Director, you will lead a team of corporate and community volunteer leaders to drive the success of the event. You will leverage your sales and relationship management skills to meet revenue and participation goals.
You will cultivate relationships with corporate and community partners, recruit, coach, and empower volunteers, and ensure volunteer committee retention and succession planning. Your role involves inspiring volunteers and participants to set and achieve fundraising goals, making the event one of the most successful nationwide.
You will join a collaborative team managing multiple events, supported by a part-time staff member and access to extensive tools and resources provided by the Association.
