Job summary

Groundworks New Mexico is seeking a development lead to secure funding and diversify revenue streams, working with the ED to cultivate donors and foundations in the Albuquerque area.

The role expands fundraising programs, manages a major donor prospect pool, assists with grant proposals, budgets, and reporting, and maintains a grant calendar for deliverables while supporting NMELC duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in non-profit development required.
• Proven success in fundraising, major gifts, events.
• Experience with grant proposals and reporting.
• Knowledge of environmental or social justice issues preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop fundraising plans with multiple revenue streams.
• Manage major donor prospect pool and relationships.
• Coordinate with Executive Director and foundations.
• Maintain grant calendar, budgets, and reports.
• Expand programs and events in the community.
