Job summary

The Obama Foundation is seeking a Gift Processing and Fundraising Analytics Associate to manage gifts, pledges, and donor data in Salesforce, supporting accurate records and timely acknowledgments. This onsite role at the Obama Presidential Center on the South Side of Chicago collaborates across teams to drive fundraising insights and donor service.

You will train colleagues, design data workflows, and ensure data integrity while partnering with Finance and IT to implement system enhancements

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in nonprofit development operations, accounting, data management, or a similar field.
• Proficiency with data entry and extraction in a high-volume, multi-channel giving environment.
• Experience with CRMs, data cleanup, and project management; Salesforce is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry: Extract, review, and process gifts and pledges in Salesforce, reconciling with Finance; manage reminders and gift invoicing.
• Development Training: Design and deliver training on data integrity, database management, and donation processing.
• Technical Writing and Policy Documentation: Serve as SME for gift entry, update procedures, and create templates for automated gift batch entry.
• Database Management: Create and manage Salesforce reports and campaigns; handle duplicates and run queries.
• Quality Assurance and Testing: Provide QA testing in Salesforce environment and troubleshoot issues via FreshServices.
• Third-Party Vendor Collaboration: Work with external vendors and IT to enhance fundraising solutions.
• Record-keeping and Correspondence: Maintain donor data and be the primary contact for donor inquiries.
• Other duties as assigned.
