Job summary

Massachusetts Advocates for Children (MAC) seeks a Development Associate to support fundraising and communications efforts. The role collaborates with a growing team and reports to the Director of Development and Communications, contributing to grants, donor communications, website content, and event support.

The position is full-time, hybrid, with two days a week in the Boston office near South Station. The salary range is $54,000–$60,000, aligned with MAC's equity-informed compensation

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising, development, or communications in a nonprofit or similar setting is preferred but not required.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Development and Communications team to execute fundraising strategies and initiatives.
• Research and identify potential funding sources, including individual donors, foundations, and corporations.
• Support logistics of grant submissions and reports, donor appeals, and sponsorship materials to secure financial support.
