Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Treasury Department leader to partner with the Head of Funding & Liquidity Risk and the Treasurer. You will drive strategic funding plans, oversee debt and equity markets, project cash flows, and manage intraday liquidity.

The role leads the Funding Risk Team and collaborates with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and BUs to deliver liquidity objectives. Ideal candidates bring deep treasury experience, strong analytical and leadership skills, and a proven track

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics required.
Typically 10+ years Treasury-related experience in Asset/Liability, Funding/Liquidity, or Investment Portfolio.
Experience with debt and equity capital markets preferred.
Banking experience helpful; strong analytical, modeling and database skills required.

Responsibilities

Execute debt and equity capital markets transactions, including long-term debt and preferred equity.
Quantify daily cash flow projections with sound assumptions and back-testing.
Coordinate funding plans with Asset/Liability Management team for long-term cash flows.
Collaborate with line of business partners on instant payment rails and funding controls.
Lead and develop the Funding Risk staff, ensuring high performance and succession planning.
