Job summary

Franklin Templeton in Pasadena, CA, is seeking a Fund Administration & Oversight Analyst to join the Sub-Advised Fund Administration team. You will oversee daily accounting, cash management, and data delivery to investment management, working in a hybrid model in Pasadena.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of asset management or financial services experience.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor service level quality of third-party providers (custodian, fund administrator, transfer agent).
• Oversee robust checks and controls for mutual funds.
• Provide accounting reports and analyses for internal and external clients.
• Coordinate year-end audits with external auditors and custodians.
• Address and manage inquiries from internal or external clients.
• Execute instructions on trade orders and oversee reconciliations (cash, futures & options, NAV) across custodians or brokers.
• Manage subscriptions and redemptions; ensure accurate cash balances."
• Oversee monthly closing of the funds’ accounting records.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to solve problems and proactively manage risk.
• Lead or participate in business process improvement projects.
