Job summary

Houlihan Lokey is seeking a Financial Analyst in the Fund Opinions practice in Chicago. You will engage in complex analytics, financial modeling, and valuation across industries and asset classes, collaborating with M&A and industry groups to deliver fair and informed opinions.

You will build models, conduct due diligence, and support business development, joining a team with demonstrated leadership in valuation and advisory services for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Strong accounting, finance, financial modeling and analytical abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and explain historical and projected financial information.
• Perform business and financial due diligence.
• Conduct industry, competitor and sub-sector research.
• Perform complex valuation projects using comps, precedent transactions, and DCF.
• Build complex financial models in Excel to assess cash flows or value securities.
• Prepare client/internal board review presentations in PowerPoint.
• Support business development initiatives and client relationships.
