Job summary

MicroVentures, a leading equity crowdfunding platform, is seeking a detail-oriented candidate to join our Fund Management team. You will help establish and maintain venture funds, process investor notices, and assist with fund accounting and tax forms.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics, at least one year of financial industry experience, and strong Excel skills. This is a fast-paced role requiring accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishment and maintenance of Venture Funds.
• Prepare investor notices including capital calls, fees, and distributions.
• Process outgoing and incoming payments.
• Maintain databases to fulfill data requests for funds and investors.
• Participate on special projects related to the fund.
• Assist in the preparation of applicable tax forms (e.g., Form 1065).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and fund specifications.
• Collaborate with compliance, operations, and executive leadership to meet high standards.

Job Summary

MicroVentures, a leading equity crowdfunding platform, is seeking an ambitious individual to join our Fund Management team.

The team is responsible for the full investment life cycle, including: establishment and funding of an LLC, target investment completion, day-to-day Fund accounting, preparation of periodic reports and tax forms, managing the exit of the target investment, closing the Fund.

The ideal candidate is a high-integrity individual with incredible attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, willingness to learn a unique business, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced financial environment.

What you’ll do at MicroVentures:

• Assist in the establishment and maintenance of over 800 Venture Funds
• Prepare investor notices, including capital call, fee, and distribution notices
• Process outgoing and incoming payments
• Maintain key databases to fulfill ad-hoc requests for Fund and investor data
• Participate on special projects related to the fund
• Assist in the preparation of applicable tax forms (e.g., Form 1065)
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the funds’ specifications
• Collaborate with compliance, operations, and executive leadership teams to meet all requirements to the highest standards of quality
