Job summary

Mayer Brown LLP is seeking a mid-level associate (2–5 years) to support the Fund Finance practice with solid experience in secured and unsecured lending transactions, including fund financings and leveraged finance. Candidates should have strong law school credentials and relevant private practice experience in complex domestic and cross-border financings.

The role can be placed in Chicago, New York, or Charlotte with eligibility for the Firm’s annual bonus program and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of associate-level experience in finance transactions.
• Solid experience in secured and unsecured lending transactions.
• Strong law school credentials and sophisticated transaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Mayer Brown's Fund Finance practice on complex lending transactions.
• Work on fund financings, acquisition financings and leveraged finance/private credit deals.
• Participate in domestic and cross-border syndicated and bilateral financings; collaborate with teams in Chicago, Charlotte, and New York.
