Job summary

Private Equity in Boston seeks an accomplished finance professional to lead fund accounting, NAV calculations, and quarterly reporting. You will coordinate with fund administrators, audits, and investor communications, while partnering with investment teams on valuations and analytics.

With 6+ years in accounting or fund finance, you bring advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or Tableau. CPA/CFA a plus, and a strong interest in technology and automation will help drive process

Qualifications

6+ years in public accounting, private equity, or fund accounting.
Strong fund accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
Experience with alternative investments or private funds preferred.
Advanced Excel and analytics; Power BI/Tableau experience a plus.
Interest in technology, AI, and process automation.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/CFA a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee fund and SPV accounting, NAV calculations.
Manage third-party fund administrators and audits.
Oversee fund cash flows, management fees, and investor allocations.
Partner with investment teams on portfolio valuations and financial analysis.
Support investor reporting, due diligence, and fundraising initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes through technology, automation, and AI.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to broader finance initiatives.
