The ASP Team is seeking an Assistant Controller to help lead accounting and financial reporting across funds, separate accounts, property-level entities, and the management company. This role manages the close process, oversees the accounting for diverse revenue streams, assists with audits and tax compliance, and helps deliver accurate, timely reporting to investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 8+ years accounting experience, including time in public accounting (preferred).
• Experience in asset management or financial services focus.
• 5+ years in an investment management firm or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, investment company accounting, and partnership accounting.
• Experience interpreting limited partnership agreements and modeling fee and waterfall calculations.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close for fund entities, including NAV calc, capital accounts, and statements.
• Prepare calculations of management fees, carried interest, incentive allocations, and waterfall distributions.
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, notices, cash reconciliations, and investor allocations.
• Prepare quarterly investor reports and capital account statements.
