Job summary

iCapital is seeking an Assistant Vice President or Vice President Fund Attorney to join its Funds Legal team in Greenwich. The role focuses on U.S. and Cayman private funds, requiring strong regulatory experience and negotiation skills. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents, advising on regulatory issues, and coordinating with outside legal counsel. Qualified candidates should have 4+ years in fund formation and be organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator. The position offers a salary range of $160,000 to $220,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of fund formation experience within the Investment Management space.
• Experience with various agreements including fund managers and distribution agents.
• Willingness to learn new topics and adapt to a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate various agreements with counterparties including fund managers and distribution agents.
• Draft and review private fund offerings and legal documents.
• Advise on legal implications of products and services.
