A leading financial services firm seeks a Fund Administrator to join its New York team. This role involves overseeing financial processes and collaborating with both internal and external partners while ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in fund administration and a degree in Finance or Accounting, and they will contribute to the monthly and year-end financial activities critically.

Who we are looking for:
First Eagle is seeking a Fund Administrator to join the New York team. The ideal candidate has public and/or private experience and they will partner closely with internal colleagues and external service providers.
What you will do:
Month-end and weekly close process, including review of NAV packages prepared by the fund administrator with all the relevant supporting documentation
Oversight of daily dealing fund, including review of NAV package prepared by fund administrator with supporting documentation
Analyze profit/loss and fund performance on monthly basis
Calculation of management fees and other asset-based fees
Assist in coordination of year end audits, including audited financial statements and review investor K-1s annually
Manage expense process (review/payments/budgets)
Prepare and review board reporting materials
Coordinate the productions calendar with the service provider and ensure all internal deadlines are met per the production calendar
Coordinate both internally and externally sourced documentation for all regulatory filings
Coordinate financial statement comments from internal and external parties
Ad-hoc analysis projects and investor/client queries
The qualities you should have:
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CPA a plus
2+ years of fund administration experience with a focus on accounting and regulatory reporting
Prior experience with an asset management firm or other financial services companies
Strong organizational skills, ability to manage several ongoing and ad-hoc projects simultaneously
Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strategic-thinker, analytical, problem solver
A collegial and collaborative team player capable of partnering both internally and externally
Automation experience (ex. Alteryx) a plus
Base Salary range: $70,000 to $100,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to – the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
