Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Fund Accounting Training Consultant to design, deliver and evaluate learning solutions for the Fund Accounting unit. You will work with performance consultants and SMEs to create impactful curricula and programs across geographic locations within the COO L&D Training Team.

You will coordinate, develop and maintain training content for fund accounting functions, deliver new hire and ongoing training, and partner with stakeholders to ensure programs meet business needs

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in a Fund Accounting operations function.
• Strong understanding of fund structures and concepts.
• Experience using ADDIE instructional design methodology.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with Captivate, Articulate or Easy Generator or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate business outcomes into learning and organization development objectives.
• Develops, facilitates and delivers learning and organization development programs.
• Maintains an inventory of training programs/tools and schedules usage.
• Evaluates training programs for effectiveness and recommends improvements.
• Represents the department in meetings and mentors junior staff.
• Coordinate and deliver the i2i programme curriculum across geographic locations.
• Design and maintain a training curriculum for the Fund Accounting function.
• Deliver training for new hires and existing systems rollouts.
• Ensure alignment of L&D interventions with business needs.
