Standish Management in San Francisco, CA, is seeking an accounting associate to support day-to-day operations of the accounting department and prepare fund-level financial statements. You will prepare statements for domestic and offshore fund families, assist with audits and tax review, monitor partnership agreements, and help with capital calls and distributions.

A Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 1–2 years' experience, strong Excel, and investment accounting knowledge are required;

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a full-time role.
• Strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 GPA).
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks (a plus).
• Knowledge of investment accounting concepts.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Team-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare financial statements for domestic and offshore fund families, updating portfolio investment schedules and partner equity allocations.
• Assist with the semi-annual portfolio review, analyzing and tracking partnership and portfolio company financial performance.
• Monitor compliance with complex partnership agreements.
• Assist with audits, tax return review, fundraising and annual meetings.
• Determine cash needs of partnerships and initiate capital calls.
• Distribute financials, K-1s, capital calls and distribution notices to limited partners.
• Perform special projects as requested by General Partners and Controllers.
• Interact with ad hoc limited partner requests.
