Job summary

Sixth Street is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to join a dedicated team handling fund accounting, corporate finance, financial reporting, and investor relations for two BDCs. The role emphasizes accurate recording, reconciliations, and support for SEC filings, audits, and internal controls.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in accounting within private equity or fund administration, and familiarity with Advent Geneva.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of accounting experience in public accounting, debt investments, fund administration, or private equity/investment management.
• Familiarity with Advent Geneva, other general ledger systems, BDCs, bank loans, and fund administration is a plus.
• Self-starter who requires little direction and can multi-task in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Book investment activity in Advent Geneva.
• Reconcile cash activity between Advent Geneva and State Street administrator.
• Assist in oversight of accounting functions performed by the administrator.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
• Assist with production/review of SEC filings (Form 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K).
• Coordinate information requests from auditors and respond to SOX/audit inquiries.
• Assist with preparation of compliance reports (credit facility, BDC/RIC).
• Develop and maintain internal controls and efficient processes.
• Interface with external/internal auditors and service providers.
