Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking an entry-level Fund Accounting & Finance Operations Specialist to support accounting and daily financial operations for investment funds and portfolios.

The role offers exposure to fund accounting, NAV support, cash and position reconciliations, and financial reporting within a collaborative team of internal and external service providers. The position is ideal for someone starting a career in fund accounting, asset management, or financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience; internships or co-op experience preferred.
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles, debits and credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.

Responsibilities

• Support daily and monthly fund accounting and investment operations.
• Assist with NAV calculations and related fund accounting schedules.
• Perform reconciliations of cash, positions, portfolios, and general ledger; resolve discrepancies.
• Process investment activity including purchases, sales, income, expenses and fees.
• Coordinate with fund admins, custodians, banks, brokers and other service providers to resolve issues.
