Job summary

Leoforce is seeking an Accounting Manager with big 4 experience to lead the accounting team, ensure accurate and timely financial close, and oversee fund accounting and investor capital accounts. You will handle foreign exchange entries, develop policies, and collaborate with senior management on financial strategies.

This hybrid role supports operations in the Real Estate and Investment Management industry with offices in Annapolis, Baltimore, or Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field) required
• CPA designation required
• Minimum 5 years in an accounting management role, ideally in Mortgage industry
• Experience with fund accounting and investor capital accounts
• Strong knowledge of foreign exchange entries and financial close procedures
• Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting team for timely financial close
• Oversee investor capital accounts and ensure accurate recording of all transactions
• Manage all fund accounting aspects including reconciliations and reporting
• Coordinate foreign exchange entries and regulatory compliance
• Develop and implement financial policies to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with leadership on financial strategies and projections
• Oversee asset valuation and performance of company assets
• Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders
• Ensure tax filings and reporting compliance at local/state/federal levels
