Job summary

SEI Investments Distribution Company (SIDCO) invites applications for a Billing and Accounts role in its Distribution Fee Accounting team in Pennsylvania. The position entails assembling and reviewing mutual fund invoices, calculating fee allocations, and processing payments to intermediaries while maintaining accurate ledgers and responding to client inquiries.

The candidate should have a BS/BA in business, accounting, or finance and at least two years of relevant experience, with strong Excel

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong technical skills and experience with accounting/billing systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle escalated issues professionally.
• General financial services knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, review and verify Mutual Fund Fee related invoices, contracts, and T/A reports.
• Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice charges.
• Calculate 12b-1, Shareholder Servicing, Administrative and Advisor payment allocations.
• Process mutual fund fee related invoices in Great Plains Accounting System.
• Assist with making payments to intermediaries (Checks, Wires, ACH).
• Reconcile mutual fund fee related receivable/payable transactions.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Correspond with mutual fund clients and respond to inquiries.
• Provide supporting documentation for audits.
• Maintain accurate historical records.
• Participate in training opportunities to increase industry expertise.
• Work on special projects as required.
