You will perform day-to-day core accounting, close processes, and help drive process improvements in reporting while interacting with investors and senior leaders. Candidates should have 2-4 years of asset management accounting, strong US GAAP knowledge, and a CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred; 2–4 years public/private accounting in asset management.
• Strong US GAAP technical accounting expertise.
• Hedge fund/PE style/financial services experience a plus.
• Quantitative and analytical abilities; clear written/spoken communication.
• Collaborative yet able to work independently and multi-task.
• Proactive and organized self-starter with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• College degree with competitive GPA and demonstrated math/analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist month-end close, NAV package, waterfall, investor reporting to LPs and regulators.
• Report quarterly/yearly accounting info to corporate for 10-Q/10-K; review drafts.
• Prepare year-end financial statements; facilitate audits and tax data.
• Analyze profit/loss and fund performance for investors monthly/quarterly.
• Calculate management and incentive fees for hedge/PE fund structures.
• Analyze expenses and budget cash liquidity for multiple fund entities.
• Maintain fund general ledger and partner capital activity notices.
• Coordinate with Corporate, Operations, Tax, Legal, and front office.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests from senior leaders.
