Job summary

SEI is hiring a Fund Accountant Supervisor within the Investment Fund Services division. You will act as the record keeper for mutual funds, CITs, ETFs and other pooled vehicles, calculating daily NAVs, processing shareholder activity, and providing comprehensive accounting packages to clients.

You will train and supervise accounting analysts, support annual audits, and prepare SEC filings, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and adherence to SEC reporting standards.

Qualifications

• BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Financial Services Industry working with Fund Accounting.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and report funds’ daily Net Asset Values (NAVs), daily investable cash, expenses and income.
• Process shareholders’ activity and perform reconciliations to the transfer agent; communicate fund transactions to clients.
• Support year-end audits and ensure compliance with GAAP; perform due diligence for regulatory compliance.
• Assist in preparing SEC filings (N-SAR, N-1A, 24F-2, N-MFP) and expense budget analyses; prepare monthly expense packages and scorecards.
• Train and supervise accounting analysts on systems, processing, procedures, and responsibilities; performance appraisals and staffing planning.
